Previous discussions about mods/tweaking and the like, and Sergio's DOAD season finale post got the itch going for me...
I had 3 specifications:
1) trem
2) non-dot fret markers
3) guitar under $200(with shipping $250)
I scoured ebay daily and finally scored an early SE Santana that met all 3 requirements. Lo and behold, it arrives with a loose neck.
Thanks to some helpful advice from fellow forum members, here's what I did:
In the last photo you can see where I was able to get the glue to squirt out the side. It passed the Michael Schenker bend test, so next step is off with the finish!
