They are from a CE24, so they have just braided ground wire that the black wire comes out of, then the white wire. It was set for the three way toggle switch and the push pull tone pot for splitting the coil.

Thanks for the response. The cost of a better nut is so small and the rest of the attention to detail is so fantastic that's why it blows my mind they use the one they do. Pickups like I said are for taste I can see why people will like them and they definitely weren't something I was unhappy...
