Well I have some good news, when I told my wife I had picked out the guitar I was getting she asked, "How'd you decide?", I said, "I'm gonna get the other two over the next couple years.", she said, "okay honey, whatever you want." So I have that going for me.

Well I went with the 509 for the single coil tones, decided if I want N+B humbuckers I'll pick up my other guitar. Thanks for all your help, I'll post a picture when it comes in.

And this may be dumb but.... on the 594 with the pick up in the middle position and coil taps on, would that be similar to a middle single coil pickup?

Ha, I was watching the 509 demo when you posted this. That middle pick up Jerry jam may of sold me on it. Would there be a way to mod a B+N humbucker?

How does the HBII cover Trey tones? I'm in the market and not sure between HBII, 594, and 513... stuck between Jerry and Trey

Jerry also played a SG and Les Paul in the early 70's. Don't think he stuck with the Nash Strat (Alligator) until 72.

Thanks for the info, I'm very indecisive and keep going back and forth. This weekend I was even thinking of getting the HBII instead of 594 or 513 (509). I will figure it out soon and let the board know what I got!
