Any long term updates on this? Got a DGT coming and I’m trying to occupy myself with rabid obsession of details until it gets here... Has the feel changed? Any change in appearance?

I caved. Goldie on the way. Love how it ages so the nitro will be a welcome thing and I’m glad it’s not factory aged. I can go either way on the neck binding. I love the look of it but the feel of plain wood is so nice.

I appreciate it! What was on it leading into ‘20? Were 18/19 the v12? I can’t keep up

Looks like they’re using a nitro topcoat on the DGT now. Is the v12 under it or something else? Anybody know what’s going on here? thanks!

Ugh that sucks! I hope you don’t end up resenting if it ever does show up.

I’m not a fan of overstretching strings. They have a memory and if you pull them way beyond what they’d experience in normal usage it’s gonna make them less likely to stay in tune under tension, even if it benefits in the short-term right after putting them on. I just string it up, tune it...

With as much thought that goes into their design process, I have to admit the tuners are pretty unremarkable and pretty boring. I’d never even thought about it before in the 20+ years I’ve been looking at PRS Guitars.

I’ve tried the Canare and agree. I like Mogami much more. The canare cables are now in my fx loop. Crazy to me considering Santana uses something like 50’ of it before his buffer.

Trying something new... Ties the binding and pickup rings together and looks more old school but I’m thinking ebony might be a good match, too. I want to hunt down some pearl buttons. The ivoroid is cool but it’s awfully white and looks kind of plastic-y...
