Quick update for you guys who've been helping me with this. PRS UK have responded - they think the pickup rings are correct for the model, and if anything the pickups are sitting too low in the rings. Therefore they want to bring the guitar in to check the setup. I think getting it into the PTC...

I'll be honest, I can't really judge it by eye. The tech did say he'd had to straighten the neck a little during his setup.

Ok, so 24 hours later, and the "sweet spot" setup that the tech did is already out, and I now have unexpected string buzz on the G string, even on the open string. Dammit...

He has done a setup for me to eliminate the buzz, but it means the action has to be a bit higher than ideal, so that's the trade-off. I'd be happy to pay towards the solution, but I'd definitely like PRS's input just to be sure.

I just got the black amber burst model today, and very happy is an understatement. Total noob question: Is there a way of knowing which limited ed number each guitar is? Apparently there were only 1,000 made worldwide, so is there a 999/1000 etc number anywhere that I'm just not seeing?
