Man, I like that wood grain so much more than the traditional PRS flame or quilted. Beautiful!

Really looking for one of those kits where everything is in the box and you just put it together and finish the wood. Solo has some nice ones.

I've been looking for a beater travel guitar and was wondering about those DIY kits. Was wondering if anyone has built one and was it worth a darn when done? Looks like it would be a fun project. Thoughts?

Ordered a print subscription to Guitar World yesterday and ordered a single issue of the June Guitarist with the PRS on the cover.

So, just realized that my "shipped" status update just means it left the factory. In small print it says may take 4-6 weeks for delivery. WTH? I am almost ready to cancel my order and get a different amp. Getting a bit ridiculous now. I used to be able to get jet engines rebuilt and shipped...

I saw that PRS is on the cover of Guitarist Magazine...looks fantastic, but their annual subscription for printed is around $140. That's a lot of coin for a magazine.

Any good guitar magazines out there still in print? What are your favorites?

Got the Rowin and the Boss RC-2 in today. The Boss was pretty easy to get a really basic loop going. Gonna take a while to learn all the functionality, but so far it's a lot of fun. Didn't try the Rowin. Might end up sending that one back.

I bought one of those Traveler Guitars last year and hated it. Just sold it a couple of weeks ago.

Got notice that my Spark amp I preordered on Feb 1 shipped this week. Can't wait for it to get here! Who else has one and what are your thoughts/experiences?

That is an interesting idea, but $1000+ is way out of my range...especially for a knock-around travel guitar to practice with in a hotel.

Yeah, most of my playing in the hotel will be unplugged. Don't want a loud full acoustic. Never played a hollowbody or semi hollow, but I assume the unplugged sound is somewhere between just playing an electric unplugged and a regular acoustic.
