I tried lowering it to 3-4, it was less bright… But I felt some tone was missing with a low setting like that. It’s the stock value.. not sure what it is!

I have a Custom 24 floyd that came with the TCI metal pickups. I find them too bright. Which PRS pickup set would “solve” that? I see the 85/15 & 58/15 set that are in stock locally. Which are better and has a fatter tone? I’m used to a LP tone, if that can help!

That’s the thing, it sounds like a humbucker and if I hit to screw or the pole on both coils, they are working… It looks like a mislabel for another neck pickup, that’s my guess. I don’t hear noise like a single coil and the sound is close to the neck pickup, just at the bridge. I can post...
