    Pickups most like DGT pickups?

I've had SNS's in another guitar and they are wonderful in that Southern Rock kind of way. WLH's are very Zeppy as well. I own an SE DGT and I am conflicted about replacing the stock PuPs. With the right amp(using an AXE3), they sound great.

    Stanley Cup Playoffs Start Tonight

Most intense playoff run of the 4 major sports, IMHO. A top seed or 2 loses in the 1st round every year(Presidents Trophy curse). Less predictable than the NBA. More intense than MBL, NFL is it's own beast and not as long a playoff season.

    Whale Blue SE

This is my SE Custom Hollowbody in Whale Blue. I bought it used and this is how was listed. Maybe it's not the correct description, but it's what I was told. Several PRS's online used, have different descriptions, some call this Blue Quilt. Others Whale Blue.

SE Mccarty or SE Paul's or SE DGT

Electronics tech for 40+ years, plus advance amateur luthier skills, allow me to do my own work. The SE 245S pickups are not bad. I notice subtle difference in my older discerning ears...LOL or maybe I just think I do...

SE Mccarty or SE Paul's or SE DGT

I just got my SE DGT after a 8 month wait. Great feel to the guitar and it might possibly be the 1st set of SE pickups that will wind up staying in any of my SE PRS's. Most have Bare Knuckle or Wolfetones.

So long...it's been good to know you!

As a cancer survivor myself(esophagageal 2006), it never stops hurting, losing a fellow survivor. We are all survivors, right up until the end. One thing the f'n big C cannot take from you, is your dignity and love for others, in your life. You can take those with you, I'm certain of it. May...

    PRS SE pickup replacement options

Big fan of Wolfetones and Bare Knuckles. Dr Vintage/Legends or Mules/Emeralds for old school PAF tones. For modern, Dimarzio always makes a great articulate higher gain PuP.

    Guitars: Toys or tools?

More like toys for me at 63, I never made a living playing music, so that only amplifies my choice.

Have you upgraded your S2 pickups?
