Yes , I just purchased a new MT 15 at Gearfest. I set it up Saturday morning. At first I had a lot of 60 cycle hum. Moved it to another outlet and the hum was barely noticeable. So when I flipped the switch to lead the hiss makes the gain channel unusable. You would not be able to use it in a...
I just read the article on PRS's success and it is enlightening , although not a surprise. I bought my first PRS just under 2 years ago after playing my friends Custom 22. It was the first time I had seen a PRS guitar. I had just started playing guitar again after almost 25 years of nearly not...
Outstnding idea! I've been looking at some handcrafted wood boxes with drawers that are shaped like an acoustic. A little pricey, but very nice. Sorry , I did not take any pics.
Congratulations! I'm new to the PRS fanatics also and though I've only played four of them, they all were fantastic instruments. I don't think Paul would let a substandard PRS out into the world. Lonnie
I know......The gold Gravity picks are about $29 each, depending on style and thickness. I guess in general we players will do what we need to in order to get what we hear to our fingers!
I recently bought an assortment pack of Gravity Picks in various stlyes and thicknesses. They are expensive at $29 for 8 picks, but I find I am liking them a lot! They seem to get a tacky feel when they warm to your body temp. Since my purchase I have not dropped any "seeds" on my guitar...
Greetings from Michigan in the USA! I have a Brent Mason signature PRS that I got for Christmas last year, it is hard for me to put it down to play my 1969 Custom SG. Good luck with your guitar hunting and I hope you are able to find a new PRS that plays like it was made for you!!!
Basauri, I agree with you that a guitar should look well loved and played. I have to play mine everyday and my vintage Gibson SG looks it with dings, scratches and buckle rash. I think the point Paul was trying to make is that no one wants the finish on their guitar to be ruined by fine cracks...
It's unbelievably cool that Paul takes the time and effort to put his personal stamp on so many of the things that make PRS Guitars so sought after. I have a piece of scrap wood personally signed by Paul from gear fest '17. I am sure he has many many things to accomplish every day. Yet he feels...
I think it is wonderful that a charitable organization is going to realize an incredible increase in it's ability to provide aid to someone , but oh how I wish my second PRS guitar could be that marvelous tool of musical invention............
