After spending a few hours playing both Velas yesterday, I have to admit I'm kind of amazed at how noticeably different they sound. The solid body has a harder attach, more defined thump in the low mids, pushes the amp (tweed) with more authority, and generally comes across as though the pickups...

I have one of these Spark Go's and I think it's great... I don't really use it 'round the house much, but easy to toss in a gigbag or suitcase for travel... The app is solid and simple enough to use, and the sound is decent for such a tiny little thing. Makes a decent portable Bluetooth speaker...

Wowzers! It's true, 594 HBII's tend to be exceptional guitars, but that one's a step above! Nice amp btw... I have an STR Trem and it's a tone monster!

"nothing like a Stratocaster"? Well, you're the very first person to review a Silver Sky and say that, I'll wager... My Core SS and my AVRI '65 Strat with grey bottoms are so similar they're literally interchangeable; don't even need to tweak any pedal or amp settings... Silver Sky pickups...
