Coming from a Tremonti, the layout is completely natural and normal for me. I like having the volume knobs on top. Infact, the 594 models I had felt odd and took some getting used to for sure.

Cleaned up, polished, conditioned fretboard and polished frets, new strings and new setup. Seems like it plays even better now!

Thanks everyone! I think this one will quickly become the one I play the most. The top is incredible too! It's crazy how good this guitar feels for being 13 years old. It couldn't have been played much, there is basically no fret wear at all. I have been through several different 2018+ models...

Well I am a sucker for a good PRS singlecut. I ran across an excellent, dang neat mint condition SC58 in Tobacco McCarty Burst and decided to give it a shot and holy smokes am I am impressed with it. For a 2011 model I would say its nicer than several newer models I have tried. The 57/08 pickups...

Sorry I’m late here. I ended up finding the nickel ones from another member who had them lying around. I believe the gold ones are even harder to come by. I haven’t even put the nickel ones on as I’m probably looking to move the guitar they were intended for.

That is exactly what I have been doing, just making small adjustments here and there to see what I like. The 57/08's are very responsive to even small height adjustments so I think I'll get it dialed in. Unfortunately, we still have not been able to have a full band practice yet, there's so...

It's interesting how there's such a difference in how these pickups measure based on their age and what they are producing now. I was hoping to get close to what you have in your 594 but I still have a nice difference in readings between my neck and bridge pickups, just lower. Tremonti Neck...

I definitely prefer the 57/08 over the stock 594 pickups too. I tried 2 singlecut 594 models before going back with the Tremonti and wasn’t crazy about the pickups in either 594 to be honest. One was a ‘21 model that had the 58/15LT and the other was a ‘23 that had the 58/15LT+, I couldn’t tell...

That’s great! Hopefully they can find you one thats hotter than the one you got. I’m wondering if I should have tried the same thing in swapping but mine was technically within the +/- .4k variance so not sure how that would have worked out. Still getting used to the 57/08 and liking it...
