OK guys, I wanted to give a little update since I picked up the Archon from the store where they modded the effects loop according to instructions from PRS Europe. Super quick turnaround (1 day) and both the store and PRS were super responsive by email so THANKS if you guys read this. OK so...

Thanks! Yeah, that's true (although the same pedals work flawlessly with my 6505)... however, I tried jumping the loop with just a high quality 1.5m cable and even that increased the noise a lot compared to not "using" the loop at all, so I am guessing it's better to get it modded! Just out of...

I just know that i beat on my Cu22 pretty good but it doesn't show any real wear except a little on the frets :P No seriously, that finish is almost indestructible unless you literally bang the guitar into the ceiling (which of course I did and chipped away a little edge of the headstock finish...

OK I am already happy they brought back the Custom 22... but if I can dream it would be: 1) A new core McCarty model with the 2-piece bridge and locking tuners. With 59/09 pickups. Would buy this in a heartbeat. 2) ...the return of the CEs :tongue:
