I have only modified my S2 custom 24. 57/08 in the neck, 59/09 in the bridge, updated bridge and pots. It’s wale blue and I’ve been leavening it in a sunny window to try and get the color to fade it’s a lot brighter. I agree with the gentleman above my McCarty 594 is perfect.

57/08 fits perfectly. I didn’t have to do any routing. The 57/08 is my favorite pickup so far. I haven’t tried the 58/15 LT pick ups yet but you can only get them after market. I’m going to get another 57/08 put it my bridge soon. Highly recommend.

You can put a 3 way toggle in a rotary spot. You won’t be able to do a 5 way, but you can put a push pull in the volume and tone to independently split each of the pick ups. I don’t recommend it, in my opinion, one push pull in the tone is better.

I’ve been leaving mine in the sun for about four hours a day. It’s gotten noticeably brighter in color. I am excited to see it in another year.

My s2 custom 24 is whale blue. In actual light it is a beautiful blue with a great flame top. In darker light it looks back. The back in the light has a green tint to it. The more I play and as it ages I think it will brighten in color. I love this guitar.

I didn’t change out my bridge, I honestly don’t have a problem with it. I changed out all of my electronics for us ones. It is a huge difference. Highly recommend. The US parts are much more responsive.
