I usually get whatever is cheapest (store brand usually) as long as it's marked shipping tape. Never had an issue with the cheap stuff and I've shipped hundreds of guitars using it. Sometimes I run out of it and ask to use the tape gun at fedex....that tape is awesome...very wide and the tape...

For my entire life, I have lived 3 miles from the Atlantic Ocean, and all the barrier islands are beach towns, yet I barely go to the beach. I prefer inland through the trails and woods. Way too crowded here in the summer too. Drive over to the island and you'll see mostly NY and PA license plates.
