Shipped my Blue Sierra amp back for repairs this is the 3rd time .keeps coming back and Filiment fuses burning up at power up while in Stand by? Tested Speaker all good Reverb tank is fine and fan tests good.Dont know what is missed.I really hope PRS can get it fixed and sounding as it should ...

I know bummer,I am beyond mad frustrated and that won't help. Just want this thing fixed and sounding right and Not blowing filament fuses PRS service sent me labels covering shipping at least and they are concerned about it.

My Blue Sierra amp came back from PRS service 2nd return was blowing filament fuses and mains fuse, the tech at PRS service found a bare spot in a heater wire that was rubbing chassis ,repaired that and other work , I turned power on within 3 seconds it blew both filament fuses ! PRS has sent...

I bought this amp As it needed this repair from a good freind that recently passed away so I have never heard it .So It is a new amp entirely to me,I have always played Vintage Fenders and vinatge style Marshall's so I know I am in for a treat.

Thank you Dmathews, Got an email today and my amp is done ,They suspected trouble in fan circuit and noticed a heater wire had disconnected and was hitting the chassis and blowing fuse so repaired that and a bit more parts were replaced in fan circuit and Tech says amp sounds and performs great...

I have a weller Iron I had since late 1970s when I worked for the Original MusicMan Inc pre Ernie Ball time in Anahiem Ca, I still use this Iron it's had many tips thru the years still use it set at 650 depending what Repairs I am working on ,Can't go wrong with this brand .
