I discovered an incredible British music time machine called Yesterday's Papers on youtube.

I've never seen these vintage, archived photographs and films before in my life. Not sure how they(the website) gets past the algorithms but they do. Added bonus are pictures of the actual singles(45 rpm records), remember those? Check out the Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones stories. They got so good, so fast.

The 'Blind Date' record reviews are the written transcripts(spoken) of the interviews for Melody Maker. For instance, there's Pete Townsend reviewing The Who's own 1st album. Hendrix, Clapton, Lennon, Zappa; all the most famous musicians of that time. Very obscure British bands and some very well known to us now.

If you go to 'info' about the site, it only says 'Spain', no contact info. Very mysterious...

A very binge watch worthy site.

Enjoy~!
