PRS 12 strings usually do sell well and relatively fast if in good shape.
I was watching a 12 string HB( don't remember exactly what model, age etc) on Reverb and it sold in about 3 days for good money.
Not saying $3000 is too much but it's not outrageous IMHO.

I know nothing about the market and whether it’s a good price, but I love the PRS 12s and would buy one instead of a Rick.

And I really like Rick 12s - have had several.

They aren’t Rick replicas so of course they sound different - and much better if what you want is a 12 string guitar that can do more than a few old hits.

The hoarder in me says to buy it because someday there may be that niche situation where it could be the perfect tool. I'll use it someday, I swear!

What's more valuable to you, an electric 12 or $3000?

If I had 50 or 60 guitars, then an electric 12 MIGHT be worth $3000...
