So the seller didn't pay for insurance - every USPS (priority) shipment gets $50 insurance by default. So he saved himself $5 - just crazy! Was only insured for $50 from what I was told by the seller, also, you can tell that something pushed into the box - so I think the seller is going to fight with USPS. Looks like it was slammed down or something.
By opting out of insurance from UPS, he took the risk of self insuring. He is still responsible for getting the item to its destination safely. So the seller didn't pay for insurance - every USPS (priority) shipment gets $50 insurance by default. So he saved himself $5 - just crazy!
Proper thing bud.I told the seller I'd return it.
