Random. No more or less

I live 40 miles east of Boogie. It was 70F and dry ALL DAY yesterday! Man, retirement has its perks like not having to leave my house all day. ;)

A few more years and I'll hopefully be there my own self. Although I am enjoying the commute to work these days - it's always a dry, 70 degree, 30 foot walk to the dining room. Oh, sure, there's the occasional traffic jam if someone else is in the hall - that can delay me up to 15 seconds.

And when the time comes, I'll have plenty to occupy my time. I've got stacks and stacks of books, magazines, movies, and CDs to catch up on. Not to mention guitars to play. My wife says she has no worries that we won't be able to keep ourselves busy when we retire. When my grandfather retired years and years ago, he sat in one of two chairs every day, and the mental decline was not hard to see. My dad, on the other hand, has been retired for somewhere in the neighborhood of 20 years, and aside from some fatigue during his second round of cancer treatment, he pretty much doesn't stop.

I bought these curtains some time ago because they reminded me of PRS paisley, always thought they could used to make something cool out of them.

I was looking for paisley too but didn't find anything interesting.

I suggest a "Home Made Paisley Shirt" gathering at the next in-person Experience.

Today I learned that Lake Winnipesaukee has one helluva shoreline.

My future retirement place is ten minutes from the lake in Wolfeboro and I am going to make it my mission to fish every inch of its shoreline. Some really good deep water fishing too, gets to like 170 feet in places.

But still, I had to tell someone, so why not the whole planet via Internet message board?

Life is full of these tough choices. I've never been faced with this particular dilemma so I'd have to think about the proper way to handle it.

Ok, just thought it over. I would never tell my wife this. I'd NEVER show her a picture of it. I'd never TAKE a picture of it. I'd certainly never tell friends, acquaintances or strangers on the internet about it. Unless of course it became an Olympic "Sport" like Curling or something. But I don't see that happening so, no. And, even if it did and even if I finally got the chance to live my Olympic dream.... NO.

Well, I just stared down a major dilemma, and came to a quick decisive and final set of solutions! Well done, me!

Now, I don't want to come off all holier-than-thou or anything, so I have to admit something: I do like sending poop emoji's to my grandson.

Ladies just a word to the wise! If you happen to mosy on over to Guitars Canada be forewarned. It’s an old school boys club and a lot of the guys over there do not like women in the club. I have been there for seven years and I still get animosity spewed my way.

Where aboot are ye in Canuckville?
I'm in the lower mainland, B.C.

20 minutes east of Toronto via the lovely and crazy 401. The Highway of Heroes. I really want to move but not too far away because all my hubby’s specialists are in Toronto. The city where I live is getting crazy. Too any ppl moving out this way. My husband promised me that if we moved he would find a place where I can have my very own studio. That sealed the deal right there. Lol

Btw My husband lived in Whiterock for many a year back in the 70’s. The golden hippie age.

Seriously? Why? That's just lame. This isn't a fight club, or football forum. I thought Canadians were all supposed to be friendly. LOL

Yes seriously. Some of these guys are in their late 60’s early 70’s and they have that mentality. I still go there because I have jammed with quite a few of the younger ones and have made some really good friends. I met one of my current band mates there. They are who they are. I can’t waste my time worry about what they think about me. I don’t really care. I got more important things to think about.

Well, I still don't know what kind of music you play, but... haven't there been women in rock and roll pretty much since it started?
