PRS SE Paul’s guitar - replacement stop tail in black

Does anyone know if anyone does a replacement black stop tail for a PRS SE Pauls guitar?

Aesthetically, you might want to replace them. As long as you get metric studs, it should be a 30 second job. Leave the original bushings and just screw the darker ones in.

The posts on the new one are M8, does anyone know what the fitted ones are as really don't want to have to replace the bushings.

I replaced the tuners with black Gotohs, the pickups and surrounds are black and think it would look nicer with a black bridge too and arguably these are less muddy.

Agreed - it’s a very good bridge. Maybe try John Mann, I think he may do a black nickel version.

I know someone on here has put a black nickel Gotoh wraparound bridge on an SE 245 (not me).

I don’t know it the post distances are the same on the SE Paul’s.

I used a Wilkinson one. The sustain is VASTLY improved and the tonal balance sounds better I think!

I've also replaced the tuners with locking black ones, plus a black pickup selector knob! Looks nicer too ;-)
