Happy New Year!

It's time again for another PRS Monthly Jam. We are really hoping we can drag in a few more participants this month so let's start off nice and easy with a Slow Blues Jam in Em. It's kind of got that Tin Pan Alley feel to it and is great for working out licks and stringing a few together.

For those of you new to this here's the lowdown.
* Download the backing track at the link below
* Load track up into your recording medium whatever that may be (if the track is too long cut it down)
* Record yourself (play lead, rhythm, add vocals, harmonica whatever you feel)
* Post your track up here for others to listen
* Tell us what gear you used (if you want)
* Leave some constructive comments about others recordings

This is all about playing, learning and having fun so hope you join us.

Since this is something I have played to a bunch, I went completely different - ZERO gain , with delay and reverb. I was going to do something acoustic but the jack on that guitar has an issue ;(
I am just starting to feel better ( Bronchitis ) what I came away with is I really need to work on my right hand speed and power ( I can't do both at the same time ) to play faster I had to play softer really doesn't show up as much with gain.
I am happy I got to cross off a New Years Resolution ( Play and record something clean )
PRS Hollowbody II and Channel 1 ( Fat mode 45 watts )

Showing the SVN a little love! Me and my drummer bud recorded an impromptu jam this past Sunday.

This was the first time I had tried a different tuning on the SVN (B-E-A-D-G-B-E). Done in one take (hence the sloppy playing and unsure changes lol), I recorded my part directly from the Kemper with an Archon profile into Logic Pro X with no post FX or EQ.

I thought there were more posted already. I guess not.

This is my Silver Sky on the quieter parts, and my PS on the ‘heavier’ part in the middle. Neck and middle on the Silver Sky, bridge on the PS. All through the clean channel on the 2-channel C, turned up enough to get a little dirt going.

I’m working on mine a little behind this month but I won’t miss posting up my track.

Nice really like the tone around the 320 mark little extra something there !!!

Well here we go.... I struggled with this one for some reason. Just could not get my groove on.

I tried experimenting with the PRS Supermodels amps. I used the Dallas Amp. I'm really digging these Amp sims I think there are a lot of possibilities with them.

2011 PRS Stripped SC58 into Audiobox and Cakewalk.

Really impressive !!! :) Makes me want a Kemper even more.
What profile are you running ?
I believe I can really hear the different EQ of the 408 on that !!!
Like the Vol swells too fun stuff

Thank you! I used the Tone Junkie profile PLEXI SL 2 4 for this track. I added some delay at some point as well. Glad you enjoyed it. I switched between the neck and bridge humbucker modes for it.
