Wow...this one's worth the guitar stories alone, but once they get into the amps and effects, it's holy smoke. One of the unsung great British guitar players of our time. It's long but worth it. If you remove all the effects, etc, your hearing the ultimate and classic rock amp setup:

a 100 watt Marshall and a single 4x12 loaded with V30's.

I was lucky enough to see him on the Come's alive tour at Wembley arena, & again performing on Bowie's Glass spider tour at Milton Keynes Bowl. Such a melodic guitarist,. nice thread!!
