First post on the new forum!

Been a long dream of mine to get a decent Holcomb SE and mod the hell out of it. Found a nice top for a steal and just arrived a couple of days ago

Mods done
- PRS Phase II Tuners with Ebony Tuner buttons (taken from my old 2009 CU24 which i replaced with Phase IIIs)
- Graphtech Tusq XL nut
- Hipshot style Titanium saddles
- Hipshot knobs
- USA CTS pots, capacitor and Puretone Jack
- Ibanez 2502N 5 way switch
- Wired push pull tone bypass with Ibanez style 5 way (inner coils on 2, single inner coil neck on 4)

Pictures in the next post!

Sweet mods. How does it sound?
Right off brand new, before the mods, it already sounded great .I wired it to a 5 way ibanez style and bypass the tone pot by default (pulling it up engages the tone pot). Similar to what jackson does to the misha mansoor series of guitars

Bypassing the tone pot increases the brightness and overall volume i.e actually much more clearer with lots of gain!

Now im finding a nice string gauge to do drop C and D standard .Looking at a 54-11 set
