Well, once again Gearfest strikes again! The deals are just too good, and with the outstanding customer service you just can't beat them. Last Year I walked away with a Violet PRS Custom 24 Floyd Rose as a graduation gift for when my daughter gets her bachelor's degree. This year, I walked away with something...special.
This PRS Wood Library Custom 24 Floyd Rose has a satin finished quilted "10 top" Grey Black Fade, the hardware is smoked black chrome (something I've never seen on a PRS) and a solid rosewood neck. The fret board is ebony with Paua 2008 outline Bird inlays. The mahogany body is extremely light for that wood, and very, very resonant.
When Mr. Smith signed my guitar on the back of the head stock, he pulled a couple members of his staff over and said "look how beautiful the mahogany is on this guitar" and after they ogled it he handed the guitar back to me with a smiled and said "You are a lucky man.".
"Yes Mr. Smith, I am."
For now, all I have is the stock Sweetwater photos. Those are usually better than mine anyway.
