PRS Newcomer
Hi everyone, relatively new to the PRS family and have just acquired a beautiful Tremonti Custom SE. I believe it is 2015 in year. It has had Seymour Duncan Slash APH-2 pickups installed but otherwise stock.
I had a few questions as someone who doesn't know a great deal about every model. From what I've seen when looking at guitars over the years, it's a very unusual colour, kind of a green/blue, very much like the current Zach Myers signature 'Myers blue' but with a bit more green in it. I believe it is called Sapphire blue from the bit of research I have done, does anyone have any info on the history of Tremonti SE Customs and their colours?
It has something called a Trem-up-route, what is this?
Finally, what pickups would this have had stock? Are the SD Slash pickups a good alternative or would a set of Tremonti S or full fat Tremonti pickups be a good swap in?
Thanks!
