New Kiwi acoustic tune ... and a warped electric version

New Kiwi acoustic fingerstyle song, after a year in the woodshed.

The Taylor 414 and 322 guitars take turns, recorded in stereo. One condenser mic on the acoustic amp, the other on the guitar itself. I added some drums to propel the whole business along.

Or if you prefer, no drums, and a slightly different mix of the guitars.

Then for fun, I slowed the whole works down to a dirge pace, thudded up the drummage, and tuned the PRS ME Quatro down to D standard. Effects include the Deja Vibe, a phaser, reverb, and tremolo, into two big clean amps. Not responsible for flashbacks and/or Cannabinoid Hyperemesis Syndrome.

As always, headphone listening is recommended, along with your favorite mood enhancers to help get you through it.

Thanks everyone. Please vote; I tend to trust your opinions:

Acoustic version: With or without the drums?

1) With
2) Without
3) Check my hook while the DJ revolves it

I'm into the electric with drums version most, then the acoustic with drums. I like the swampy electric texture you got. Has a great vibe.

Plus I enjoyed listening to it. That's always a good sign!

Super-nice work.

I vote for Acoustic w/o drums (2), but I think that is due to the drums used on the other acoustic version did not match in my mind! Thanks for sharing, I really like the outro flourish on the two acoustic versions!! Keep 'em comin'!!!
