Jack/input issue

Hello, I’ve been thoroughly enjoying my new to me 2019 594 semi however it appears the jack on it seems to push the cable out of the end slightly and it since has a slight hum to it. It resolved when I put my finger on the cable or the metal surrounding it. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I wonder if the connectors on the jack are loose?
Maybe try removing the jack plate and squeeze the pins together a bit (not too much).

No worries, I had an issue with my 2001 McCarty that made crackling noises when I moved the cable a bit. This fixed it.

No worries, I had an issue with my 2001 McCarty that made crackling noises when I moved the cable a bit. This fixed it.

It ended up being the ground for the bridge pickup. Thankfully taken care of and back in order.
