Issue with 3-way blade switch on new Custom SE 24

Hi all,

Novice level guitar player here - I'm having an issue with my Custom SE 24 (purchased in Feb) - whenever I select the bridge pickup position, the signal is greatly reduced. Pulling 'up' slightly on the switch temporarily restores the signal, indicating to me that it's likely that the the switch is the issue.

Any suggestions on a course of action? Where might I find a replacement switch? I'm decent with a soldering iron if it comes to that...

Try cleaning the contacts. Get a strip of fine sand paper and slide it between the contacts inside the control cavity.

Will do...thanks! Just to be clear (and so I don't do something stupid and wreck the finish or something ), this will require removing the cover off the back of the guitar?

Just an update - soldered in a new switch and all is well!
