I've been using Inspirata for a few months on orchestral and rock pieces, and it's a pretty incredible reverb.

Like most IRs, it samples a space, but instead of a static sample, it has algorithms that make the space feel real. You can place the instruments, you can put the listener anywhere in the room or hall, and damned if it doesn't sound like you're in a room. They sampled some pretty impressive spaces, my favorite for orchestral work being the Berlin Philharmonic's hall, but there are large rooms, small rooms, and what-have-you.

This could be the most realistic immersive reverb I've used, including the excellent Ocean Way from Universal Audio, and it gives you many more choices, though Ocean Way lets you emulate mics if that's what you want (I don't, in general I pick my own mics).

The owners of the company got their start creating excellent sample libraries of classical organs in various concert venues and churches, and they're in Hungary.

I must immediately change my name from Les to Laszlo and go visit them!! :p
