... In a book!

My Valentine got me a copy of "The Art of PRS" PS book last Thursday, it was even autographed by PRSh and came with a fold-out poster of one of my favorite PS from the book!

I don't know how many of you have had a chance to check this book out, but it's loaded with the nicest pictures of guitars I've ever seen... I mean the guitars are nice, but the photographer did a super-bangin' great job... I honestly think he could've put out a book on boogers and crushed beer cans and I would've still been transfixed by his photo skills.
Look! I can't even take a semi-decent pic of a beautiful photo!

One of the great things about this book is that it's perfect for an unliterate (duh, I can't read good, why would I know the proper word is illiterate? Don't start feelin' all superior yet.) goon like me, and would make a perfect coffee table book, or a fantastic item to put in my "go bag" for when the zombie invasion begins and the internet and power goes out... I'll still be Fapin' to PRS Porn!

Oh God! The best/worst part about this book is that on one of the last pages there's a back shot of one of those mystery Private Stock CE's that I read about in that "other" PRS book... Just a shot of what looks like a solid flame maple emerald CE body and the neck plate.. F@ckin' TEASE!!!! The liner notes confirmed what I always suspected: The Japanese have all the good sh!t!!!!!

Ugh.. There's a Bonni Pink Santana with the Rosewood LTD inlay on what looks like an ebony fretboard that made me walk over to my guitar rack and berate them all, and spit on them for being so.. blah! Stupid Gucci top, I hate you you're so pedestrian.

If you want to start punching yourself in the nuts,.. Get This Book Now! I thought I had already seen the most sick lookin' PRS and there were more than a few times that I actually said "wow" out loud to myself.... Now all I need is a coffee table.:coffee:

I'm jealous. Mine's not signed. That's awesome. And thanks for the pic of the purple guitar... Killing me.

Speaking of which, I think my Valentine is trying to kill me. I got 3 laps in a Ferrari or Lamborghini. That's what I get when I keep saying I want a guitar. :dontknow:

Heh, I have the book on the shelves in my studio for clients to drool over, but I'm actually the one who gazes longingly at the pics. Often.

It's so beautifully done.

Ooh.. I just thought they might all be signed, I guess I'm extra fancy. The purple guitar killed me too! Now I NEED a purple guitar!

How about three laps in a Lambo with a purple guitar?

It's so beautifully done.

It really is.

Huh - I got a Ghost T-shirt.

But I got the book last fall at Experience. This thing is really nice quality - outstanding photography and done on high-quality paper.

Lenny handed me mine - and it's signed.

Congrats on such a cool gift, AND such a thoughtful Valentine! I'd love a copy of that book but it's out of my price league. You're doing something right Sergio! Enjoy.
