I know that Lloyd is a man that shares my love of country music.
Don Henley and Dolly Parton, just released, an instant classic.
This is really impressive. Henley is like 68, who knows how old Dolly is.
Won't pretend that they have the timbre, range and quality in their voices as they did in their prime.
I've always suspected that Henley and Frey loved country.
Hurtin' music, in the tradition of Hank, Louvin Brothers, Gene Watson, so many more.

Admittedly, I am not a huge country fan, but I really like the entire Henley disc. It's that age in me and the appreciation for good songs. I may have to expand my collection yet again!

Well, Eagles did start off as Linda Ronstadt's band.

Nice tune. Thanks for sharing. I'll have to give the whole album a listen.

Two great artists that still have it. I'm not a fan of new country or even the Nashville stuff from the 70's, but I'll always respect Dolly. She's a real talent.

Thanks very much for this. I hadn't heard it. Very cool! :)

I don't care for Bro. Country. I love Classic Country. I respect Dolly for her contributions but don't care for her seeming inability to stay on one note. I also respect Don musically, but think he's stuck on himself. This is a fair offering. I hope to hear more.
