Duncan bridge into Santana Retro

I'm thinking about putting a Duncan humbucker into the bridge of my Santana Retro. Either the EVH branded Frankie with a nickel cover, or the Custom Shop variant in zebra. I just want a bit more growl out of the bridge and like the sound of the Frankie.

Do I need to do any magnet flipping if just putting in a single humbucker rather than a matched set? I've read a magnet flip might be required but that was on a Cu24 with a rotary.

I assume wiring in place of two conductor wiring will be straightforward?
