Drop C# setup question

I have a PRS McCarty 2020 model and I had the nut cut for 10-52 strings to set up in Drop C#.
The nut slots were cut just fine. The "problem" I'm having is that the 6th string (C#) when played open flops too much and rattles against some frets.

That happens mostly when I hit too hard, I have to be cautious of how hard i'm hitting it.
When I tune the guitar to Eb and the 6th string tightens I don't get that flop and rattle. The neck has relief and my action at the 12th fret is 5/64ths/ 2.5 32nds on the 6th string and 2 32nds on the 1st string. Do I need thicker strings or should I raise the action? Only the 6th string flops too much to rattle in Drop C#, but not in Eb.

Use a thicker string. When I used to do Drop C# I used 12 gauge strings to keep a comfortable tension.
