I have two different blue PRS. A Cu24 and a Tremonti. Both have Ivory off white rings. I'd really love to have white rings, especially in the Tremonti. Anything out there?

They def make white. I have several American prs’s with them- a white Tremonti with white rings. A Dave grissom with white, platinum Tremonti with white , and a semi hollow gold top with white. For reference , I put a photo of white vs ivory . The platinum Tremonti has white and the Platinum double cut has ivory

Go to a paint store if you need convincing: There are dozens and dozens of shades of ivory, cream and white.

PRS never made a pure, bright-white pickup ring.

These sure “look” white, but could be ivory

It’s sort of like white vehicles. Most aren’t stark white, but I would still consider them white. Who cares …

Your opinion.
Not universal
Of course it's my opinion! What else could it possibly be? Taste is ALWAYS subjective!

But you won't find any pure white rings anyway. You could always spray paint some.

The idea of cream or ivory guitar parts goes back to the 17th century (or earlier) when real ivory was used to trim guitars. It's a tradition that lasted.

There are a lot of shades of real ivory, from near-white to near-yellow. It was nature. Since the turn of the 20th C, it's plastic. What can one do?
