Just finished watching the premier of the 41st season of ACL.
It was an awards show, and during the grande finale, the "house" guitarist was playing a stunning PRS.
Don't know who he is ... DG perhaps?

Always a treat to see PRS in high visibility events.

Is that the one Bonnie Raitt was inducted on? From last fall? If I recall correctly, that was indeed Mr. DGT hisself.

Nope, brand new, hot off the press. Guy Clark, Townes Van Zant, Asleep at the Wheel and an accordion guy I'm not familiar with (no offense to the accordion or those who love them).
Dwight Yoakam hosted and he was pretty awful ... seemed really, really nervous.

The accordion player is the great Flaco Jimenez, a member of the Texas Tornados who has played with tons of others (such as on the Maverick's "All you ever do is bring me down" and on Yoakum's "The streets of Bakersfield") ACL is a great show - check out Storyville @ ACL on Youtube "A good day for the blues" - DG (on his PRS) and David Holt trade some killer licks. Enjoy !

ACL is not on here this week. Our local PBS doesn't show all of them.
