So I have my P22 set up in E flat. To go standard I put a capo on the first fret, understanding that this will not alter the tension/setup on the tremelo. This is correrct, isnt it ??

OK thanks for that, I was also worried about the affect on the neck, but I guess I shouldnt worry with strings off for less than 30 minutes.

Didnt you put something under the bridge to stop it moving...and coming back on the body itself?

Hi All, I would like to clean my fretboard on my P22. It has a floating bridge, is there a way all strings can be taken off at once safely without messing up the set up? Or is it best to not attempt? Thanks!

Biggest problem for me is plugging into the piezo jack when I think Im going into the magnetic! Nearly every single time. Hello? This thing on? WTF?

Do all PRS pick ups perform like the 57/08 in split configuration? They sound excellent split, unlike nearly any other guitar I have owned. It certainly sounds strat like (without being totally like a strat, as it is not). Its even become my favourite position for all clean stuff...

I an considering trying the 52's. Set up for 46's currently. I tune to E flat. I realise I will need a bridge adjustment as well as neck relief probably. My concern is if that change can cause binding issues at the nut? Any thoughts? Thanks.

I use 10/46's on my P22 AND I tune to E flat! Me likee. Considering going up to 52's, but concerned I may get binding at the nut, Im not sure on that, so Ill probably stay with the 46's for now.

Thanks for the thoughts guys. The thing stopping me from getting a new saddle, is how to get the screw out of it !I mean, the thread on the head of it is stripped. Obviously its too small to get a pair of needle norse pliers around it. Any tips on getting that screw out? Im sure it can be done...

Sorry for the confusion, yes its probably bit of a naff question. My Low E on my P22 is ever so slightly sharp. I tune to E flat. I cannot adjust my saddle any further back. I didnt remember they were brass when I first got it, stripped the screw head without much force at all. So it looks like...

I know this is mainly an issue for Strats with single coils, but has anyone found it can also affect intonation on a PRS? Ill spare you the long winded reason for asking why.. thanks.
