Ha! A long while ago I had a McCarty. Loved it. Had to sell (won't bore you with the reasons) and when PRS announced the SE DGT this year, being a long time DG fan, and still missing my old McCarty, I ordered the DGT.

Dear All. Thanks so much for the invaluable feedback. In then end I got a Gator. Yes, I would have liked a Mono, but the UK price was more than the piggy bank could hold and I needed a bag pronto. The Gator is semi-rigid, has lots of protection and I am happy with it. So, thanks again.

I've had my Tobacco Sunburst DGT SE 4 weeks now and IMHO it is fantastic. I have been a Strat player for 40-odd years, but I am unable to put this thing down. I take my Custom Shop '54 Anniversary to every gig, and over the past 4 weeks, it has just sat on the stand watching me play the DGT...

Unfortunately I haven't seen a Premium PRS bag. I do have an older grey SE bag which is OK for my Strat - it's pretty well padded but I wouldn't fly with it. But the bag that came with the SE DGT doesn't have as much padding as my older SE bag which is why I reached out. :)

I have a DGT SE and they are certainly wider than those on both my Strats.
