Ok thanks for all the help guys, but today I pulled the trigger with my first PRS guitar! I thought I was going to get an SE and put new pick ups in it, but I bought an s2 instead. I would recommend the S2's over the SE's because of the superior build quality. Very happy with my first PRS.

Whats with all the hate towards the s2's? On a non PRS forum the comments are mostly positive, but here the PRS owners are not so happy with the s2's.

Thanks! I think ill go with a SE custom 24 with the more vintage sunburst finish. Any thoughts on the PRS SE custom 24 "floyd"?

Its almost Christmas and i'm getting myself a PRS finally just don't know what to get. I don't know if I want to get a PRS SE and then latter put in better pick ups, or get a PRS S2 and not do any mods t it. I would like a guitar with a good looking finish ( i know its not all about the finish )...

I am looking to buy a PRS SE guitar but I do not know which one to buy. I loved the SE torero, but it is hard to play with out any inlays. I also loved the PRS SE Custom 24 Floyd in Tobacco Sunburst. Any ideas?
