Great question! I have an SE 245 and, not a Studio, but a Les Paul standard. Cosmetically, I like the Gibson better, sound wise, neither beats my USA PRS. But they're close to each other. I think if I was starting over, I'd go to the Studio, but it's close.

The shared screw always looked "Un-PRS ish" to me. Like Bondo on a Ferrari.

So, if there are three adjustments, stoptail, P/U height, and pole screws, which order do you proceed? My luthier did a setup, and he raised the stoptail. I'm thinking of lowering it and lowering the P/U too.

Okay, I had to look at my SE 245, and it's not that way. But, I had the nut changed to a GraphTeck Tusc and the strings replaced with 10's. I almost think your way is better for bending, and also muting the low E with your thumb.

Are those corner protectors on the Mesa leather? I'm getting sweaty just admiring it.
