Smart man here. This is why you get a Custom “22/24” Fatback, a piezo custom, a 594, any singlecut, dgt, or a McCarty. I have one regular custom 24 and it’s because it’s under 7lbs! It had the pattern neck, so it sounds a bit in the fat side and super resonant!

I have a bass pickup out of a P22 and it’s labeled P22 Bass 3610-N what pickup do I have? 57/08 or 53/10? It didn’t sound like a 57/08

It’s got more mids than the Tremonti, at least it feels that way. Squishier and more fun to play, kinda like a Suhr Aldrich.

I put a set of uncovered \m/ in mine and it’s quite possibly my best sounding guitar.

Maybe try cutting the tone pot out of the neck pickup, that’ll help some.

Yes, came stock in my P22. A little under wound and dark for my tastes.
