I have no issues with the 85/15 S pickups on my CU24. They have huge output and are very articulate. Perfect for any style of music you can throw at them really!
I noticed the jewel light on my amp started flickering. Sounds fine however. What would cause this? Bad wiring in the house or is the light going bad? And how would I go about fixing it? I want to spray it contact cleaner but the jewel part don't look like it unscrews...
It's been a week and this SE 20 has really proven itself to be a very versatle 20 watt monster. Maybe I got lucky and got a good one? No harshness or fizz. It's very tight and punchy, great for metal. The clean channel is also very cool. It can go from pristine to ultra crunchy... It's like...
I just acquired a PRS se20 combo and I have to say it's not bad. I love how the clean channel breaks up early and the dirty channel is actually very usable. But... I think I may swap the speaker for a gt75 or v30...
Anyone else own one of these? Love it or hate it?
I need recommendations on a 3 way BLADE switch for a SE Custom 24. The middle position on mine seems to cut out even after I sprayed it with contact cleaner. Thanks in advance!
Any love for the Indonesian made SE line? I just got a Custom 24 in charcoal burst and it's bloody fantastic! I think it's on par or better than the old Korean made ones. The pickups are interesting... 85/15 S to me seems to have a JB vibe. Is there an A5 in the bridge? The finish and feel is...
I guess I could also complain about the thick candycoat poly finishes they use overseas... being so used to nitro I am tempted to sand the necks but that is only a minor complaint and an easy remedy.
Well I am convinced that the Korean PRS SE guitars are very much a real "PRS" and not just a cheaper mass produced knock off. They play and sound so well and that I've sold a USA made Gibson SG to fund a new Custom 22 semi hollow... without even playing it! (it was well worth it) I don't know if...
You will need to widen the net slots... mostly on the low E, A, and D. I use EB Skinny Top Heavy Bottoms 10-56 and had to do some nut work. Fine grit sandpaper and some patience is all you need.
I would go for the ZM simply because it's a semi hollow and it comes in a beautiful Trampas green! I played one yesterday and looks and sounds amazing.
