    Thanks to Customer Service

Last week I called PRS CS to find out some info on parts to repair a CE22 bridge (screw size and part numbers). I had a saddle with a stripped and frozen set screw and another missing a intonation screw (have no idea when I lost it). CS sent me an entire saddle assembly for my CE22 gratis! I...

    Freakin BOTS!!!

One my message board, I capture the IP address of the offending BOT or Spammer (and IPs they used to post) and put them in the banned list and leave the last octet as variable (ex. 123.56.78.xxx) xxx being the open variable. Then just delete the account and all associated posts in one click...

Stoptails - another "if everything affects everything" question

Well, last night I measured (so I can be close after it's strung) and mounted up the adjustable bridge. I also used DiAddario NYXL strings. Man, what a difference. There is a definite low & mid boost, and louder over all. I'm pleasantly surprised.

Stoptails - another "if everything affects everything" question

A PRS Adjustable Stop Tail popped up on my local CL, I snagged it cheap. I plan on mounting to my McCarty 58. I am REALLY curious as to the tonal change it may bring.

    Would you make this trade...

Well, we didn't trade. We both agreed we liked our own guitars better. That being said, Friday I played an all mahogany 408 Standard. Very smooth, warmer tones. Then I played his maple topped 408, very bright and clean compared to my MC58. And the Pattern Thin neck was a pleasure to play...

    Would you make this trade...

They both are used and immaculate. I have played a 408 standard some time ago. Liked it a lot. I was going to buy it, but it had a paint flaw. SA sent it back. I don't recall what the neck was. This one is a Pattern Thin, so it's a 1/16" thinner at the nut, but the same width as a Pattern...

    Would you make this trade...

We have discussed that I like the feel and play of my MC58, the 57/08s (although legendary) do not cut it for me. I know a pup swap is a good option, but this trade just came along... My 2011 MC58 Artist, Pattern neck, Vintage Burst, 57/08s, 7.2 pounds for a... 2013 408 Ten Top, Pattern...

    Dilemma...

I have a dilemma. I have a lovely MC58 Artist. I love the looks, weight, feel, and action of this guitar. But I am not bonding with the tone of the 57/08s (sacrilege, I know). I prefer the Dragon IIs in my CE22, but it's the weight that kills me (1.2 pounds heavier than the MC58). For the...

    NickelBack

Someone once posted (not here)... "Nickelback sucks! They only play 6 chords!" I kinda replied... I call that pretty successful, imagine what they could do if they used more! I'm not a fanboy, but I'm sure no hater of them.

    PRS CE

    I have a CE22 with D2s... Its my number 1, even over my MC58 with 57/08s.

    PRS MC58 Artist... Custom?

That is what I figured. $1000-1500 high. Makes me wonder if he really wants to sell it, or just looking for a windfall.
