Zack Meyer Tuners Turn Ratio, No Mod replacements

I picked up a my fourth PRS recently, a Zach Meyer. Love everything about it except it seems to be hard to get it INTO tune. I'm guessing that maybe this is because the tuners have a low ratio and I overshoot? Compared to my USA Custom 24, my Torero and my EG2, the tuning on the Zack just isn't as good. Should I consider replacements? I don't want to modify the wood in any way. Advice?

i found tone pro replacements on eBay, and they are locking tuners

Mine tunes just fine w/ stock tuners.
Perhaps you've got a sticky nut or string slippage?

From experience with several SEs, the factory nuts may need a little bit of work. Binding occurs on the B and G strings typically, causing tuning issues. I'd look at that one first, maybe filing the slots a bit more. What string gauges are you using?

The Gotoh SD90's are pretty highly rated direct replacements. They are also locking.
