My fingers can't handle 11s for string bending, I get injured!!! (skin under the nail pulls away) been doing that for 40 years!

Try a guitar with jumbo frets. Happens to me with 9s on certain guitars, but I have no issues with 11s on my DGT.

I agree... that’s one of the things I love about my SE Akesson, and conversely, one of the reasons I decided against getting a Silver Sky.
