Make your voice heard!
Man, I’m not sure if my vote was trumped or I’m just biden my time.
Tremolo though I've always associated whammy bar with Floyd Roses.
I usually say Trem, so voted tremolo, though I do also say whammy bar.
I voted whammy cuz I cut my musical teeth in the 80s. You don’t dive bomb on a tremolo!
The strings need to be flapping!
I’m goin’ with Wang.
While this is a VERY common ( see poll results) to hear it called a tremolo, its a vibrato. If you look up the definitions, you’ll find that tremelo is volume variation, while vibrato is pitch variation. The interesting thing to me has always been that when people do it with their fingers, everyone calls it vibrato, but when done with the bar, many call it tremelo.
When I use my fingers it's called mining magic nose goblins.
Me, too. Tonight!
And so should everybody apparently.
Best laugh of my day. Thank you!!
I call mine Harold.
"But you have three guitars with them. What do you call the other two?"
"Harold. It's just a name."
Oh... and tremolo
I voted yes.
The tonewood whistle. Only ahem.....sophisticated guitarists can hear it.
Hey Wang! It’s just a parking lot.
