I got bored yesterday and did a tiny video of some samples using a lighter pick.
A bit of background: I just use my fingers for the vast majority of my playing, say 3/4. If I use a pick, I usually grab a reasonably stiff one. Only because medium or softer warp fast enough that I toss them and then there is clutter on the floor. But some things, I find the lighter pick gives me better control over the right hand feel.

I only use a medium thickness pick when I want a fuller tone… most often on an acoustic …
