The neck on my CE24 has really been growing on me a lot lately. I was curious what other models come/came with the wide thin or pattern thin neck profile? As far as I can tell it mostly just appears to be the ce24s and custom 24s. Anything else?

The cool thing about downsizing is you get to buy guitars all over again!
I figure I'll only keep downsizing until I start to freak out. Which reminds me of that old joke...

"Dad, is it true you can go blind from masturbating?"

"Yes, son, that's what I hear."

"Then I'll stop as soon as I need glasses."

I’ll take all the wide thins you guys don’t want. Coming from Iby’s Wizard necks they feel at home even as I have gotten older. Never bothered my hands. I will say I can adjust to most necks so it’s all good as far as PRS goes.

I never was an ibanez player but my background when I was younger was definitely more "metal" guitars that leaned on the thinner side. I find the PRS thin neck very comfortable. I'm honestly pretty polyamorous when it comes to neck profiles though lol

Tremonti's never really stood out to me before but the closer I look at them the more GAS is rising now. I wish they had coil taps but otherwise seems kinda perfect for my tastes

Core Custom 22 and CE 22 guitars can be found with W/T necks. Most of them that have the W/T are trem equipped.

I have to switch from classical to acoustic to electric to metal everyday.

New neck profiles don't bug me. My DGT is just about perfect.

Is there any rhyme or reason to being able to tell without your hands on one? I’ve been eyeballing a few CE22s on GC used. If I emailed PRS a serial number would they be able to tell me?

Only the Tremonti bridge can split. Easy enough to add a push pull if you wanted too. I'm not much of a split bridge guy. Now if the neck pickup had the wiring to split I'd do it.

Yes, they’d be able to tell you. You can usually get the serial number on GC by putting the guitar into your online cart.

There’s no real way to easily tell visually from GC’s pictures. Sometimes you can distinguish a Regular from a wide, based on the proportions of the narrower nut.

Be careful with GC’s used when it comes to CE22s. They often mix up CE24s with 22s, and others.

Haha yeah I've seen some wild stuff/mislabeling while sifting through pages and pages of PRS on GC used

There's an SE Tremonti on there right now for over $2800 🤦‍♂️
