I think that’s cool. It needs an ebony fretboard though. The comment about it It being a “floor” model with blemishes listed or shown in pics is interesting. I don’t see any.

I normally don't go crazy for crackle finish but this one does look good.

I've been kind of wanting a Vela and would definitely consider this one but If there was a trem involved it would be all over.

Tangential topic: does anybody know the correlation (if any) between Paul's modern pickups idea (i.e., wider bridge pickup, narrower neck pickup) between the Vela here, and the 408? Seems similar in approach. Just curious, that's all.
