Ahhhh someone understands my vision!
You mean the Cust24 foil finish from 1985-1990 ish?
No, I was thinking more like this.
That’s cool! I think I remember Fender making Strats like that.
I want a holoflash S2, like this:
Nice!! Very cool
Someone on the PRSGOW Facebook had a picture of the pink one. It looked kinda hot!
I have to say I really like that cracked/neon look. I got to get me a Santana like that.
The pictures show that finish all over the back as well as up the neck. I have to wonder if this finish has a texture to it, and if it would effect playability. I would be distracted by a textured feel and might start picking at it until it peeled off. Kind of like picking a scab. (I know EWWW gross!)
Snagged one of the pink crackle S2 Custom 24s a few days ago. It is an intense neon pink - much brighter than it appears in pictures. I call it my Punk Rocker Barbie guitar.
The body has a very slight orange peel texture while the neck is completely smooth.
A gold crackle would be very nice.
And that's a bad thing?
I can get on board with these. It's cool to watch it being done, too.
While insanely cool, I keep getting flashbacks to the crackle finish Epi Lester's from the early 2000's.
I don’t care what anyone says..... that looks freakin AWESOME!
That was cool!! I never knew how swilled pain was applied. I’ve got to research further. Thanks for your post.
