The Cu 24 has also been available with a pattern regular neck, not just pattern thin.

It’s only available with thin in 2021 (with likely few exceptions of those ordered in 2020 and released now). But yes, the custom 24 use to be pattern regular.

I would go with pattern vintage. I really haven't compared both but I'm just not a thin neck guy.

The poor 24 fret fans reading that statement. But in terms of sales, I sure do think the 22 frets have caught up. Hence the discontinuation of the custom 22 with the rise of McCarty and Silver Sky series

Agreed. The Cu24 is across all lines for PRS. The others are great guitars but your sales assumption is probably more accurate than flagship.
